Air Jordan 1 ‘Shattered Backboards’ May Be Getting a Completely New Look
A very luxurious look indeed.
Pairs of reinterpreted Air Jordan 1 “Bred” and “Royal” colorways have previously surfaced with a satin concept in 2016, but this time around Jordan Brand is utilizing a more recent addition to its archives: 2015’s “Shattered Backboard” release.
While major details on this pair’s release remain under wraps, @baltsneakershow Instagram page says that this pair can be expected “soon.” The “Shattered Backboards” will maintain it’s original look but with an orange satin upper replacing the leather for a luxurious look.
A satin upper will likely receive the same praise the leather pair did for it’s outstanding quality. If it does end up hitting stores, based on the past satin releases, you can expect a limited run of less than 1,000 pair and a retail price of $175.
