Amazon Cuts Prices at Whole Foods Again
Whole Foods is no longer going to have the reputation of a “whole paycheck.”
Amazon is slashing prices once again at Whole Foods, and will be offering coupons to prime members. This will be the third time that Amazon is lowering prices. Customers used to say “Whole Foods, Whole Paycheck,” but with the price cuts that will start this Wednesday, consumers will change their perception of the grocery chain.
Customers will be saving at least 20 percent on hundreds of items, especially organic. Prime member customers get more deals through receiving an additional 10-20 percent off weekly.
The focus on this round of price cuts is on produce. There will be mangoes for $1 dollar each, cherry tomatoes for $3.49 per 12 oz., and bunched rainbow chard at only $1.99 each.
With Amazon’s partnership, Whole Foods is now making healthy, organic foods more accessible. To entice more foot traffic, shoppers can get $10 off their $20 purchase after they sign up for an Amazon Prime Membership. The membership includes free grocery pick-ups, Alexa shopping, free deliveries on orders over $35 dollars, and an extensive amount of discounts and deals.
Now that you’re filled in with the awesome deals coming this Wednesday, you can plan on shopping for some wholesome food to provide yourself with energy to make that wholesome paycheck. Health is wealth.
