Sources close to Amazon claim the e-commerce leader are in-talks of launching a new music streaming service, according to Billboard.
This will go beyond its current prime music membership, which aims to attract prime members. It would be an ad-supported streaming service on the Amazon Echo. Users will have access to a limited catalog. Billboard says the service could be made available as soon as next week. At the moment, Spotify leads the music streaming industry.
Amazon has yet to comment on the rumors.
