Anthony Davis Stance on Trade Remains The Same After Lottery
Will Anthony Davis stay or go?
It was a great night for the New Orleans Pelicans, as they won this year’s NBA Draft lottery and could potentially alter the franchise’s luck with their pick.
The Pelicans only had a six percent chance to win the draft on Tuesday night and that six percent turned into a possibly being able to acquire Zion Williamson.
Although the Pelicans are now off to a good summer, it looks like Anthony Davis still is not willing to be a part of it and his stance on being traded remains the same. According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Davis notes that nothing has changed with the lottery win tonight and how he feels about staying with the franchise.
The season ended with a lot of bad blood between Davis and the ownership, as well as with Pelicans fans. Even the possibility of pairing up with Zion Williamson does not seem like it is enough for the star center.
