Halloween is just a few days away, and perhaps you’ll be throwing or attending a party(ies) this weekend – and in the case the playlist is whack or you’re just in the mood to listen to some themed songs, check out Hubwav’s list of the best traditional Halloween songs. 👻

“Superstition” – Stevie Wonder
Even the grooviest ghouls get down to this classic.

“Somebody’s Watching Me” – Rockwell
Not to make anyone paranoid, but if you feel an eerie sensation it’s likely that you really are being watched. (Probably from your webcam, tbh. What’s good, NSA?)

“This is Halloween” – From Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas
Who in the English-speaking world doesn’t know this song?

“I Put a Spell on You” – Screamin’ Jay Hawkins
For all you brujas and brujos, take note.

“Sweet Dreams (Are Made of These)” – Eurythmics
This song makes us feel like strutting down Hollywood Blvd with all the night freaks. 😜

“Jack’s Lament” – All American Rejects
The orignal by Jack Skellington was obviously the best, but AAR made the tune their own.

“Halloween Parade” – Lou Reed
More of a country feel, perhaps it’s a Scarecrow’s favorite.

“Ghostbusters” – Ray Parker Jr.
Another classic, now you always know who to call.

“Season of the Witch” – Sunshine Superman
Trip out to this tune this season

“Monster Mash” – Bobby Pickett
If you ever had a Halloween parade when you were in Elementary, this was THE jam!

“Thriller” – Michael Jackson
Of course, we couldn’t leave the Halloween song that defined a whole generation out of our list. Not only is the video one of the most iconic of our time, the choreography was killer. (No pun intended).

Have a safe and lit Halloween, from us at Hubwav! 🌊 🎃
