Celtics Sweep The Pacers
The Celtics brought their brooms to Indiana.
The Boston Celtics have swept the Indiana Pacers, winning 110-106. Celtics guard and former Butler Bulldog Gordon Hayward returned to Indiana and scored 20 points off the bench.
“This is his city. This is where he’s from,” said Kyrie Irving. “And I’m glad he had a chance to put on a performance like that in a close-out game, and it really means something to him.”
The Celtics would run off in the fourth quarter with a 18-5 run to put the Pacers out. The Pacers’ Victor Oladipo had trouble scoring in the third quarter, like the team has had throughout much of the series.
The Celtics would get double digit contributions from four of five starters. The Celtics await the winner of the Milwaukee Bucks vs Detroit Pistons. Currently, the Bucks lead the series 3-0.
