Dreamville Shares Mini-Documentary About the Rise of Cozz
Cozz knocked that hustle.
Not only did Cozz drop his “Effected” album today but Dreamville also shared a Mini-Documentary on the artist. The 10 minute documentary is about the rise of Cozz. The rise from his South Central Los Angeles neighborhood to the Dremaville rapper we know now.
It was directed by Darius Turbak in which he shows the backstory to Cozz. It includes interviews from family and friends to help share that backstory. Cozz has always shred that he wants fans to be able to relate to his story before the fame and that if you want to do something you need to work hard at it.
“When I made this project, I wasn’t thinking about nobody else,” he says at the end of the video, speaking on the Effected project. “I wasn’t listening to nobody else. I was just competing against myself. I’m pushing myself more than I’ve pushed myself at anything. So I think this album is the best Cozz to date,” Cozz said by ending the documentary.
