Foot Locker Reveals New App Feature
Say goodbye to waiting in long lines.
Remember when a new Air Jordan or Nike came out and sneakerheads waited in long lines that wrapped around the store, in order to cop the new sneaker? Yeah, well, it looks like those days are coming to an end.
Foot Locker, along with Footaction and Champs Sports, introduced a new app feature that makes the purchasing process more efficient. It’s called the Reservation Procedure. It’s purpose is, “to digitally reserve a space in the queue,” according to Hypebeast.
Now you don’t have to wake up in the wee hours of the morning to wait in line in order to get yourself a new pair of sneakers. Now you just have to be on your phone 24/7 to make sure you have a secure spot in the virtual waiting room. Let the feelings of anxiety start to creep in now.
However, not everyone currently has access to the new feature. It will first be piloted in Tampa, Florida starting June 4, with the release of the 2 Air Jordan Retro 11 Low colorways. Stay tuned though. Your turn will be here shortly. Hopefully.
