‘Game of Thrones’ Is Getting a Lecture at UC Berkeley on the “Dothraki” Dialect
The coolest summer course you can take this year.
If you’re a die hard ‘Game of Thrones’ fan get ready to attend UC Berkeley this summer. The creator of the dialect Dothraki David J. Peterson is going to teach a course on the made up language. This course will truly get into the art and history of dialects in film that are invented by talented people. If you’re a fan or have always wondered how people come up with languages for films we suggest you get your application for UC Berkeley done as soon as possible. So far this course will only be held this summer, but who knows maybe colleges everywhere will make this into a course for people with similar dreams as David J. Peterson. Who knows maybe one day you could pursue a career in inventing languages for films.
