Hubwav’s looking for graphic design interns to join the team! All submissions are due March 15th. Here’s what we’re looking for:

Please include your portfolio (resume, cover letter, writing samples, etc) and weekdays that you are available to work after March 15th. Email them to intern@hubwav.com.

Graphic Design Internship:

Hubwav’s Graphic Art department is looking for graphic design interns to provide our editorial, design, and social media teams with images to use on our website and social media channels. Candidates must be able to commute to our LA office and be available to work at least two days each week to be considered for this position. Please attach your resume and cover letter as well as portfolio. In your cover letter please state why you want to work in production and why you want to be a part of the Hubwav graphic design team. Please attach your documents as a PDF.

Our ideal candidate is:

· Enrolled in college majoring in Art, Graphic Design or a related field (college enrollment is not a requirement).
· Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Lightroom, Powerpoint, Keynotes.
· Detailed oriented, highly organized and efficient in time management.
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
· Basic photo retouching skills; cropping, color correction and minor photo modifications.

Responsibilities:

· Retouch, resize, and tag all acquired images.
· Create and maintain our online image archive.
· Must be able to create designs that stand out from the crowd.

Editorial Internship: (Not open for submissions until Summer 2019)

Working in the editorial department will give interns the opportunity to gain valuable editorial skills and learn the web and print processes. Candidates must be able to commute to our LA office and be available to work at least two days each week to be considered for this position. Our ideal candidate is:

· Enrolled in college majoring in Journalism, English, Communications, or a related field
· Flexible, willing to learn, and a dedicated hard worker
· Able to work quickly and efficiently on tight deadlines
· Creative and witty (a love of music is a bonus, but by no means a prerequisite)

Responsibilities:

· Contributing to lists and brainstorming with teams
· Fact-checking
· Writing posts/copy editing
· Transcribing interviews
· Conducting research for editors

Video Production Internship: (Not open for submissions until Summer 2019)

Hubwav is looking for video production interns to join our team. We are a platform for originally produced series’, co-productions and more content that is programmed and developed for our growing audiences. Candidates will learn the ins and outs of video shoots. We are looking for someone who can commute to our LA office and be available to work at least two to three days each week. Please attach your resume and cover letter as well as (3) of your most recent pieces of work. In your cover letter please state why you want to work in production and why you want to be a part of the Hubwav team. Please attach your resume as a PDF.

Our ideal candidate is:

· Enrolled in college majoring in TV Production, Film, Communications or a related field
· Knowledge of Adobe Premiere, Photoshop, Final Cut, iMovie
· Detail oriented, highly organized and efficient in time management
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
· Understanding of video production techniques & equipment
· Familiar with the YouTube platform

Responsibilities:

· Develop & Package show ideas and concepts, from conception to execution
· Develops original content, including writing and editing shows and videos
· Package, prepare and deliver presentations for Executive team members
· Continually test and evaluate new strategies and tactics
