Jayson Tatum Not Fazed By AD Trade Rumors
Jayson says he’ll play for whomever.
Boston Celtics’ second year guard Jayson Tatum is not worried about the rumors stating he will be traded for New Orleans Pelicans’ superstar Anthony Davis.
Tatum spoke to Sopan Deb of The New York Times, “Trade rumors don’t bother me.” He continued with saying, “They’re talking about trading me for guys like Anthony Davis. So I mean, I must be doing something right.”
“I’ll play for whomever. It’s something I can’t control.”
Tatum had an outstanding rookie year. During last year’s playoffs, he averaged 18.5 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 2.7 assists. Most memorably posterizing LeBron James like no one has ever done before.
Tatum hit the sophomore slump with Kyrie Irving back in the lineup as well as Gordon Hayward, both returning from injury the previous season. Tatum and the Celtics hold a convincing 2-0 lead against the Indiana Pacers.
