With Kendrick Lamar announcing the release date of the upcoming soundtrack for Marvel’s “Black Panther” on February 9th, and the film coming to theatres exactly a week from this Friday, the TDE frontman has dropped the visual for “All The Stars” alongside his labelmate SZA.

Dave Meyers and the little homies, the team behind some of Lamar’s most intricate music videos such as “ELEMENT.” and “DNA.”, have outdone themselves again with this one.

The video begins with Kendrick sailing amidst a sea of hands before cutting to a scene of him walking towards a group of children huddled by what appears to be an African queen. The clip then cuts to SZA dancing in a galaxy of stars. The African-inspired visual features African dancing and clothing, from SZA’s purple and red ensemble to Lamar’s headscarves.

The “All The Stars” video comes at a perfect time as “Black Panther” is expected to generate $120 million opening week at the box office, and is a perfect way to kick off Black History Month. Check it out below.
