Kobe Bryant Set to Be the First NBA Player with Two Numbers Retired
“8 & 24”
The Lakers are officially retiring the numbers “8” and “24” for none other than the G.O.A.T Kobe Bryant. Retiring after a 20 year career and 5 championships under his belt it’s safe to say that he’s the greatest player of all time. To much respect, the Lakers have granted him two numbers and a statute we hope. C’mon guys if Shaq has a statue we can get Kobe one too. Brynat’s Jersey retirement will take place on December 18 before the Lakers and Golden State Warriors showdown. He will be Lakers 10th player to have his jersey retired but the first NBA player with two jerseys up for retirement.
