Shortly after the release of Kodak Black’s album ‘Painting Pictures,’ the first week sales have rolled in. As pointed out by XXL, the LP has sold 71,000 equivalent units the first week landing it at No. 3 on the Billboard Top 200 and in good company, with Drake’s ‘More Life’ and Ed Sheeran’s ‘Divide’ just ahead, “51,000 of those copies were streaming equivalent album units, and 15,000 were traditional album sales.”

Ever since the success of “Tunnel Vision,” there’s no shocker that Kodak’s new album is keeping up. Production from Ben Billions, Wheezy, Mike WiLL Made-It, and more help the album hold variety, which is essential for mass appeal. “Tunnel Vision” has been sitting on the top 10 of the Hot 100 for straight weeks. Although behind bars in Broward County for allegedly “violating his house arrest” the Florida rapper is scheduled to appear in court April 19.
