Kyrie Irving’s Reaction to Cavs Multiple Trades
Looks like Kyrie got out just in time!
Yesterday was a world wind in sports, the NBA specifically. We saw the most action and active trading in recent history perhaps with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Just hours before the trade deadline the Cavs traded almost their entire line up. Isaiah Thomas, Dwayne Wade, Channing Frye, Iman Shumpert, Derrick Rose, Jae Crowder and a few draft picks were gone. Being replaced by Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance, George Hill and Rodney Hood. Wow, I feel like I read an NBA attendance roll call. Most fans and critics saw these as desperate moves to improve their current situation.
Needless to say, the reaction from social media was overwhelming, and some pretty hilarious even. The one person’s reaction fans wanted to know, Kyrie Irving’s. After being traded, by his own request, from the Cavs last year.So many speculated, many more made hilarious memes to guess how the Celtic’s point guard could be feeling about the trades by his former team. One of my personal favorites:
After the Celtics win against the Wizards, Irving was asked for a response to the trades. He took a few seconds to gather his thoughts and it looked like he might give some thoughts on it. However, he hit reporters with a Kanye shrug and simply said ” I’m in Boston.” While I highly doubt that is his only opinion about the situation, I can respect it. Maybe we’ll get a little more insight when the Celtics and the Cavs face off on Sunday.
