Migos Breaks Their Own Record With ‘Culture II’
Migos is here to take over the world!
There is no denying that Migos is the hottest group out right now, across any genre. According to Offset “We the biggest group ever,” and he has every right to think that. Billboard reported yesterday that Culture II has a total of 15 tracks on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs charts. These 15 simultaneous entries on the charts, beat out their previous record for most concurrently charting tracks by a duo or group with 12 from Culture, released back in February 2017.
During that same interview at Big Boy’s Neighborhood, after Offset declared that they are the biggest group ever, he went on to say “Ever in hip-hop, pop, all that because every genre is motivated or structured music, is right now off us.” Again, I can’t disagree. The Migos didn’t just break their own record with Culture II. With 14 tracks on the Hot 100, they are now tied with the Beatles for most simultaneous entries on the chart by a group.
According to Offset, the group has new music they are just sitting on. Teasing us with what he describes as a “stash” of unheard music with Kanye West. Also, the Glacier Boyz project that is supposed to drop later this month. Seems like Migos is unstoppable.
