Nike, Air Jordan and Converse Collab for “Art of a Champion” Collection Honoring NBA Playoffs

The NBA playoffs are approaching and Nike, Converse and Jordan did a collaboration for the occasion with the “Art of a Champion” sneaker collection. The three labels are to drop 16 pairs of sneakers. That’s because 16 wins in the postseason are what leads up to the NBA playoffs final.
The 16 different pairs of sneakers from the three brands, represent multiple generations of basketball. Each pair is set to represents a specific player and their groundbreaking moments in the game’s history. The players represented are LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Kevin Durant, Michael Jordan and Ray Allen.
The gallery is at Nike’s New York headquarters in midtown Manhattan. The collabs are set to be up for grabs since the collection includes old-school silhouettes to new and improved, re-issued drops. Only 15 sneakers have been unveiled, the final shoe will be themed after this year’s NBA Champion.
