Snapchat Introduces an Instagram-like New Feature
Just throw the whole app out.
Snapchat has recently introduced more features as it continues to tank in the competition with Instagram stories, who has seemingly taken all the most recognizable attributes. Not to mention that everyone seems to hate it’s most recent update that has relocated how users can view stories, it seems Snap is pressed to come up with something to keep your attention just a little bit longer.
The app has launched a new feature that allows you to add Giphy animated stickers to your snaps, similar to the one recently added to Instagram Stories. In addition, Snap will also introduce a new feature called Tabs, which will help users organize and see the Stories they want. Tabs, will allow users to sort through friends with active Stories, Group Chats, and Discover subscriptions.
Snapchat has announced that the rollout will come out “soon” on iOS, with Android to get the feature “in the coming weeks.” To add GIFs to your posts, tap the Sticker icon and search for the image you want to add to a photo or video. You can scale the GIF sticker by pinching the screen with your fingers or add multiple GIFs.
