Tyler, The Creator won’t be gracing South American fans with his presence any time soon. The Los Angeles native recently wrapped up his co-headling tour with Vince Staples, supporting his most recent album Flower Boy. The North American leg of the tour was sold out and the rapper had plans to hit South America for a few dates but it looks like that will no longer be happening.

Tyler was scheduled to perform in Argentina, Chile, and Brazil as part of the annual music festival Lollapalooza this week. However, the festival took to their Facebook page to announce the 27-year-old won’t be performing “for personal reasons.”

Although the official reason hasn’t been released, Tyler took to Twitter to explain his absence at the upcoming festival. He tweeted, “hello, im not coming to south america as planned anymore, sucks, i will be there at some point tho, sorry, i know yall was really really looking forward to it, but, uhhh….yeah, sometimes a duck isnt a jean jacket….ill be out there one day, holla * heart emoji*.”

Tyler followed up the tweet with yet another apology while encouraging fans to still show up to the festival. Read the tweet down below.
