Walmart Plans To Beat Amazon By Offering Free One-Day Shipping
The battle of the online grocery shopping just got real.
Walmart plans to one-up Amazon by also offering free one-day shipping on orders of $35 dollars and above. The new strategy is already operational in cities like Las Vegas and Phoenix.
The company plans to make it accessible to 75 percent of the U.S. by the end of this year. Amazon recently announced it would speed up its delivery service to its prime members, from two-day delivery to one. The major difference between the two companies are Amazon’s yearly charge of $119 or Walmart’s minimum purchase amount.
